ESTAINIUM Member Meeting Munich November 2025

Munich, 12 November 2025 – From 11 to 12 November 2025, around 40 members from 21 companies gathered in Munich for the ESTAINIUM Member Meeting. The two-day event brought together industry leaders, innovators, and sustainability experts to collaborate on the next chapter of circular economy and technology-driven transformation.

Twice a year, the ESTAINIUM community comes together – not just to exchange updates, but to actively shape the future of sustainable industry. This autumn edition took place in Munich, a city as diverse and dynamic as the network itself.

Circularity as a Business Foundation

The event kicked off with an inspiring keynote from Melanie Bleicher of VAUDE, who demonstrated how circularity and sustainability can form the foundation of a thriving, future-proof business. Her message was clear: doing good economically and doing well ecologically are no longer opposites – they are inseparable.

Key Initiatives Launched

The meeting featured three major points that will shape ESTAINIUM's work in the future:

Circularity Bootcamp – Together with Tomás López Mendez from Fraunhofer IIS, ESTAINIUM launched the Circularity HUB, a new platform designed to connect members, share knowledge, and drive collaborative action on circular economy practices.

AI in Sustainability Reporting – Members explored how artificial intelligence can support regulatory reporting and help companies gain deeper insights into their sustainability performance, addressing the growing complexity of compliance requirements.

Innovation Roadmap 2025 – Nine new collaborative projects were mapped out, offering members the opportunity to co-create solutions across key sustainability challenges.

Growing Network, Growing Impact

The meeting welcomed four new members to the ESTAINIUM community: Code Gaia, Celonis, Climate Connection, and circuly. Golem Technologies Europe S.A., initially participating as a guest, decided to join the association on the second day – a testament to the value and energy of the gathering.

Beyond the formal agenda, the networking dinner sparked numerous collaborations and partnerships, reinforcing ESTAINIUM's role not just as a network, but as a community built on trust, shared responsibility, and collective action.

ESTAINIUM continues to grow – not in size alone, but in impact, connection, and conviction. The Munich meeting demonstrated once again:
Circularity + Technology = Real Transformation.

With renewed energy and clear priorities, ESTAINIUM moves forward to develop actionable solutions, strengthen industry collaboration, and drive the transition toward a truly circular economy.
