ESTAINIUM at the MAYGREEN Opening Event and Conference in Düsseldorf

On April 9–10, 2025, ESTAINIUM participated in the MAYGREEN Opening Event and the Excise Tax, Energy and Climate Regulation Conference at the Hotel Mutterhaus in Düsseldorf-Kaiserswerth.

The two-day event provided valuable insights into long-term climate and environmental policy, climate-related business risks, and the latest developments in energy and excise tax regulation. The Opening Event featured thought-provoking keynotes, e.g. by the ESTAINIUM member Dr. Christian Spindler (Sustainaccount AG), followed by a lively networking reception with great violin musician.

On the second day, the conference focused on practical legal and fiscal topics, including recent rulings by the Federal Fiscal Court and the digitalization of energy and electricity tax systems. The sessions were expertly moderated by Dr. Karen Möhlenkamp and Sabine Schulte-Beckhausen.

It was a great opportunity for ESTAINIUM to connect with experts, exchange ideas, and gather inspiration for future work. A big thank-you to MAYGREEN for hosting such a well-curated and enjoyable event — we’re looking forward to the next one!
