ATS Automation is an industry-leading automation solutions provider to many of the world's most successful companies. With an extensive knowledge base and global capabilities, ATS delivers custom and repeat automation, automation products and value-added services to address the sophisticated manufacturing automation needs of multinational customers in markets such as life sciences, consumer products, electronics, food, beverage, transportation, and energy. Founded in 1978, ATS employs over 6,000 people at 20 build sites and over 50 offices in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and China.
Why did the organization join the association?
ATS´s goals is to lay the foundation for a sustainable automation future that next generations will rely on – for the wellbeing of our planet and fellow human beings. As we learnt about Estainium while working with Siemens, this was the perfect opportunity to address this issue with a strong partner network and a structured starting point.
How do you wish to collaborate with Estainium?
We are happy to provide insights into our company as automation specialists, as well as share processes, technical climate-related data and sustainability activities. We are also actively collaborating with Estainium to develop and jointly execute sustainability initiatives within and outside the working groups.
What does your organization would like to get out of Estainium?
As Estainium establishes itself as an attractive and strong network with a high level of penetration and a solid base of members, we are aiming to be part of a pioneering network and becoming one of the leading sources for established industry KPIs, standards and initiatives with regards to decarbonization.
What is the main activity of our organization?
Callirius brings private capital directly to climate impact through a digital marketplace giving climate solutions access to new funding sources and enterprises & investors access to high-impact nature-based climate projects, through active sourcing and impact strategy & advisory. To ensure decarbonization effectiveness, we define high quality based on a scalable data-driven, science-backed, and well-regulated framework.
Why did the organization join the association?
Due to our shared vision of decarbonizing our global economy, starting from the German industry, we joined ESTAINIUM to join forces towards it, as we believe this is critical to scale up individual aligned efforts.
How do you wish to collaborate with Estainium?
Share best practices, and knowledge (financing, VCM and NbS as our focus), seek collaboration and use synergies for corporate decarbonization and climate contributions for unabated carbon emissions, including commercial but also policy and thought leadership collaboration.
What does your organization would like to get out of Estainium?
Our mission is to drive more decarbonization by bringing more private capital into nature-based climate solutions. For this, we see ESTAINIUM as a powerful network to find financing partners and thought leaders to enable and strengthen our mission.
What is the main activity of our organization?
CEEZER offers one central platform to screen, purchase, and manage carbon credits for quality. The platform enables large enterprises to partner with high-quality carbon projects and manage their negative emission portfolios guided by science and data.
Why did the organization join the association?
We believe that the challenge of climate change can only be tackled together, hence we are happy to join to collaborate, exchange ideas and drive initiatives.
How do you wish to collaborate with Estainium?
We will participate in the working groups and are happy to share best practices on the carbon markets as well collaborate on VCM quality data / frameworks.
What does your organization would like to get out of Estainium?
The hands-on industry perspective as well as validation of hypothesizes and a fruitful discussion.

Why did the organization join the association?
We believe that companies want just one solution to satisfy all the requests for PCF information. Only with standardization of methodologies and technical standards this requirement can be achieved. Estainium’s mission is to drive this and we want to support these efforts.

circuly is the software that enables websites to offer their physical products on a subscription or rental basis — and we make it as easy & profitable as direct sales.
Why did the organization join the association?
We joined Estainium to drive the circular economy forward — helping brands reduce waste and extend product lifespans through subscriptions and product-as-a-service models, while learning from and collaborating with other innovative, sustainability-focused organizations.
How do you wish to collaborate with ESTAINIUM?
We feel circuly can help drive the circular economy forward through enbabling websiters to offer their physical products on a subscription or rental basis. Our challenges are: 1) informing the small but growing number of companies who already do this that circuly exists and can greatly scale that business and 2) informing companies who don't offer subscriptions/rentals but could about that circuly can help them launch and scale a sustainable subscription model. We also know any partnership is a give and take. We are always looking for fitting partners to grow our ecosystem, and want to be of service to any ESTAINIUM members in any way we can.

DFGE offers consulting, software and auditing services to companies in order to enable them to realize a green vision and integrate it into their daily business. Parts of our portfolio are solutions for CO2 management (greenhouse gas balances), corporate carbon footprint calculations and product carbon footprints / LCAs, as well as support during the participation in international rankings and reporting schemes like UN Global Compact, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), EcoVadis and Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).

What is the main activity of our organization?
EuroGroup Laminations is a world leader in the design, production and distribution of the motor core (stators and rotors) for electric motors and generators. The Group’s business is organized along two segments: (i) EV & AUTOMOTIVE, which designs and produces the motor core of electric motors used in electric vehicle traction, as well as a wide range of non-traction automotive applications; and (ii) INDUSTRIAL, which designs and manufactures products used in various applications including among others industrial applications, home automation, HVAC equipment, wind energy, logistics and pumps.

To increase commitment to the company's decarbonisation process.
How do you wish to collaborate with Estainium?
In the first instance, by drawing on the background and experience of our contacts. In addition, being a manufacturing company EuroGroup Laminations can certainly bring experiences that can be recorded 'in the field'.
What does your organization would like to get out of Estainium?
The opportunity to compare oneself with other companies that have taken the same path and can therefore share the same challenges. In addition, the opportunity to get in touch with the different players in the transition (research centres, IT companies, manufacturing companies) and thus the possibility of creating an interdisciplinary team to tackle one of the most important challenges of the coming years.
What is the main activity of our organization?
Energia Europa is an Italian joint stock company developing innovative products for energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
We design, develop and manufacture cutting-edge devices to optimise modern electrical systems in manufacturing, retail and residential facilities.
The core of our production is the patented EP-X device, which ensures real energy efficiency both on the line and power system with the same work performed, thereby reducing system losses and improving power quality.
The energy savings guaranteed by our solutions bring about a substantial economic gain on all power consumption.
Energia Europa has recently incorporated into its group a company of excellence in LED lighting for industry and public administration, our LED DIVISION, with a view to ever greater integration of cutting-edge technological energy efficiency solutions.

Because there's no planet B. One of the main objectives of Energia Europa is to have an impact concerning the pressing sustainability challenges, doing it in a very structured and pragmatic way. Estainium represents a high level group of likeminded professional that have the means to together change things in the very heart of the industry.
How do you wish to collaborate with ESTAINIUM?

What would your organization like to get out of ESTAINIUM?
On a high level, critical mass to push technologies and policies that can't have an impact. On a commercial level become part of a broad network of sensitive players that can be interested in adopting our technologies.

As a research institute with focus on Digital Transformation we seek to shape the future of business and society. Our interdisciplinary team and experts with diverse experience in business, society and politics are challenging established thinking structures and forms of science and business to develop contemporary models and solutions for the on-going transformation process.
Why did the organization join the association?
Our project partners within research and practice are increasingly addressing requirements on the topic of sustainability and digitalisation. We want to provide solutions in the context of industry as part of the expert network of Estainium.

Collaboration within the working groups and increasingly also by pooling the results between our working groups is of particular concern to us.

What is the main activity of our organization?
Fraunhofer IIS specializes in the development, implementation, and enhancement of processes, products, and systems for its clients and collaborators across various industries, including business and the public sector. Within this framework, the Supply Chain Services working group focuses on the optimization of business operations by leveraging data and creates data-driven solutions to address contemporary sustainability challenges. One such example is the development of smart circular economy solutions.
Why did the organization join the association?
We realize that the sustainable transformation of smart, digital products and business models requires solutions across the whole business ecosystem. Estainium is uniquely positioned to analyze and solve sustainability challenges across the whole value chain and from various perspectives. Together, we want to support the development of eco-friendly solutions for the future.
How do you wish to collaborate with Estainium?
Participation in the working groups to exchange knowledge, expertise and ideas with the other members from industry, consulting and academia.
What does your organization would like to get out of Estainium?

What is the main activity of our organization?
FAU is the largest university in northern Bavaria and one of Germany’s leading institutions for education and research in engineering sciences. Throughout its 279 year history, FAU has grown to encompass all scientific fields and is currently attended by 39.000 students.
Why did the organization join the association?
FAU joined the Estainium association to learn about challenges regarding product carbon footprint measurement and reduction first and to offer support in researching potential solutions.
How do you wish to collaborate with Estainium?
FAU is interested in conducting research projects – either publicly funded or in direct partnership – with other association members. Additionally, consultation and technical development within the regular frame of the association, i.e. working groups, is a way of collaboration FAU is interested in.
What does your organization would like to get out of Estainium?
FAU aims to increase ecological sustainability and transparency in producing industries through targeted collaboration. Furthermore, FAU would like to gain insights into current practice to include in its educative activities.
What is the main activity of our organization?

Golem Tech builds responsible, enterprise-grade AI that helps organizations augment decision-making and automate execution across core operations (ERP, supply chain, industrial processes). Our focus is on trusted AI for the real economy—combining generative AI, time-aware causal reasoning, and industrial-grade deployment to drive measurable gains in productivity, resilience, and sustainability, while strengthening governance, transparency, and compliance.
Why did the organization join the association?
We joined ESTAINIUM to accelerate the GenAI4ERP program and scale it through an industrial ecosystem focused on trusted ESG/Scope 3 (PCF/ISO 14067) data extraction from ERP systems. The association provides the right platform to pilot with member companies, strengthen credibility and governance, and support an Innosuisse-aligned pathway toward measurable productivity, transparency, and sustainability outcomes.
How do you wish to collaborate with ESTAINIUM?
We wish to collaborate with ESTAINIUM as a strategic ecosystem partner to co-develop, pilot, and scale GenAI4ERP for trusted ESG and Scope 3 reporting (including ISO 14067 Product Carbon Footprint) directly from ERP data.
In practice, this means: aligning on an Innosuisse pathway, integrating with ESTAINIUM’s PCF framework, running on-prem pilots with selected member companies, and jointly producing the supporting governance and market-facing deliverables needed to scale adoption.
What would your organization like to get out of ESTAINIUM?
Our organization seeks to gain from ESTAINIUM access to a credible, industry-driven ecosystem to accelerate the validation and deployment of GenAI4ERP for ESG and Scope 3 use cases.
Specifically, we aim to benefit from industrial pilot opportunities with member companies, alignment with established PCF and ESG frameworks, and institutional credibility that supports public–private innovation pathways (e.g. Innosuisse) and international visibility in the sustainability and digital transformation agenda.

What does your organization would like to get out of Estainium?
As a sustainable company, we create long-term value through our operations while seeking to balance environmental, social and governance aspects – for us, for our stakeholders and for society at large. In 2020, we began embedding sustainability even more firmly as an essential component of its Group strategy. By 2040, we will achieve climate neutrality and reduce our resource consumption. Siemens wants to overcome the challenge of decarbonization of the entire supply chain. We want to connect our PCF Management Solution (SiGREEN) with the Estainium Network. To benefit of the entire solution strong partner are need to overcame this challenge.
How do you wish to collaborate with Estainium?
Siemens wants to be present in all of the working groups driving the technology. Siemens is donating the technology stack for the network. With all members we want to drive the Standard and Norms discussion across industry.
What does your organization would like to get out of Estainium?
Siemens wants to use the Estainium Network to connect SiGREEN, understand and drive the market place discussion to use the option to offset carbon emissions by using certified projects. The more interesting the working group solution gets, the more we as Siemens can benefit from it.
What is the main activity of our organization?
The Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne is a private Swiss non-profit organisation that conducts and supports industry-related and primarily applied research and development. As part of the national and international network of the Switzerland Innovation Foundation, we aim to generate research investment from abroad, promote Swiss innovation performance and start-ups, and accelerate the translation of research results into marketable products.
Why did the organization join the association?
The Swiss Smart Factory (SSF) joined Estainium to collaborate with like-minded networks and support our sustainability journey. We see valuable learning opportunities from Estainium’s expertise and aim to contribute to building trusted data exchange frameworks for smart manufacturing.
How do you wish to collaborate with Estainium?
We wish to engage in joint projects, share knowledge, and explore marketing opportunities, including broader visibility for our events and reaching a wider audience. We are also interested in co-organizing events and enhancing collaboration between our networks.
What does your organization would like to get out of Estainium?
We aim to strengthen our sustainability initiatives through collaboration, enhance visibility for our activities, and establish connections for joint events and projects with Estainium’s network.
What is the main activity of our organization?
Sustainaccount automates the accounting of carbon and environmental footprints in the manufacturing of products, in the provision of services, and of carbon that is stored within products themselves. We integrate product related footprints with corporate activities and build the bridge from product to corporate level accounting.
Why did the organization join the association?
Thanks to its open ecosystem approach, ESTANIUM brings the right partners together that contribute to solving the climate and ecosystem crisis.
How do you wish to collaborate with Estainium?
We are bringing thought-leadership into the association and wish to develop solutions together with the partners that individual players can not achieve alone.
What does your organization would like to get out of Estainium?
Meeting interesting people, developing and spreading ideas, growing the network to exploit the potential for collaboration.
What is the main activity of our organization?
Tymba, a young startup founded in 2023, developed a process to modify fast-growing and local woods into a new form of hardwood. During this process, the wood's mechanical properties are improved dramatically, resulting in a hardness higher than that of many plastics and some metals and a specific strength stronger than that of steel. Unlike those traditional materials, Tymba has a climate-positive CO2 balance.
Why did the organization join the association?
Tymba shares Estainiums central aims of climate and environmental protection. We strive for the reduction of GHG emissions to ensure a livable future for mankind and we want to incorporate the aspects of a transparent carbon policy from the very beginning.
How do you wish to collaborate with Estainium?
We think that cooperation and knowledge transfer are essential for innovation and inspriration - now more than ever since time to act against the climate change is running out. We hope that we as a startup can contribute with new and creative approaches and at the same time learn from more established partners.
What does your organization would like to get out of Estainium?
We would like to become a member of Estainium to exchange information and to get into contact with persons, businesses and institutions that are working in related fields.
What is the main activity of our organization?
Weidmüller is a family-owned company and global player. Why did the organization join the association?
Acting in a sustainable way including the climate & environmental protection is a part of our company DNA. Thus we are happy to go for decarbonization with a powerful, independent, open and cross industrial network.
How do you wish to collaborate with Estainium?
In general to help building-up an independent and open network / ecosystem across industries, academia, certifiers and NGOs to promote the climate & environmental protection. Concrete bring in our expertise in the working groups, carry out case studies and bring the results into our daily business.
What does your organization would like to get out of Estainium?
Weidmüller as a part of the strong Estainium network is one of a leader to create transparency and establish standards, KPIs and the technology for exchange ESG data. With this we will transform our products and solutions to a lower carbon level. Additionally, we will fulfill the requirements of our customers.
What is the main activity of our organization?
The provision of tax and legal services, financial and digital advice to multinational clients are our main areas of expertise. With our approx. 1,500 German experts and the WTS global network, WTS is one of the market leaders in providing advice to multinationals.
Why did the organization join the association?
For us, economic success and socially and ecologically responsible action belong together and form the basis of our business success. Sustainability is an essential component of our corporate culture, which shapes our daily work and our dealings with each other and our business partners. For this reason, we support ESTAINIUM with our expertise in climate regulation.
How do you wish to collaborate with Estainium?
We actively participate in Working Group 3 and contribute to the publications of the Working Group. In doing so, we see ourselves as translators between the technical and digital possibilities and the legal global framework.
What does your organization would like to get out of Estainium?
As a company, we want to understand how content and digital solutions can be created and what new opportunities arise from this. For us as experts in international regulations, especially in the field of sustainability, this results in new discussion points, among others vis-à-vis the OECD but also vis-à-vis governments.
